Hello! I'm Kelley Peake and welcome to Peake Academy’s Preschool-At-Home Parent Partner Success Plan!

With our 25+ years of teaching, our experienced teaching team created Peake Academy’s Preschool At Home Parent Partner Success Plan to support a quality preschool experience in your home.

We created this because Preschool At Home can be challenging. The pressure created for working parents to balance work commitments can be demanding. There are teaching skills parents lack, for example how to teach early reading, math, and other skills learned in preschool. Not to mention the impact on the parent-child relationship due to the mindset shift involved in perceiving the home and parent as a place to learn and a person to be taught by. This is can be difficult for younger children. Parents naturally teach their children throughout their lives, but in a non-academic way and usually cover more social-emotional areas of life.
